SPCG Plc (SPCG), operator of power plants, is convinced this year’s revenue can grow more than 100 percent thanks to revenue recognition from existing businesses and solar cell power plant business.
Wandee Khunchornyakong, chief executive officer of SPCG, said 2012’s revenue should grow more than 100 percent compared with 2011’s because SPCG will recognize revenue from both core and existing businesses, especially from solar cell power plant business that will have revenue from selling electricity for the whole year from nine projects. Moreover, in January, two power plants including Khon Kaen Power Plant Number One and Koraj Power Plant Number Two will be able to start distributing electricity.
“This year’s revenue will grow more than 100 percent for sure because we have revenue from many businesses, whereas last year’s is according to the target,” said Ms. Wandee.
SPCG expects 2011’s revenue will be according to the target because power plant business and existing businesses should be able to create revenues according to the targets.
“We expect this year’s revenue target can be achieved because five power plants can be commercially operated as planned. Meanwhile, this year’s revenue from existing businesses should be greater than last year’s,” said Ms. Wandee.
