Recently, Puea Thai party’s deputy leader Plodprasop Suraswadi admitted that his announcement of 5-points reconciliation plan had been backed by discussion among foreign ambassadors, Bangkok governor MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra, foreign academics of the United Nation (UN), a big military figure, and him.
Mr. Plodprasop and MR Sukhumbhand are not just ordinary professional politicians.
Meanwhile, Mr. Suthep Thaugsuban hurried to deny the criticisms that he did not accept the reconciliation plan, claiming that it was just only his opinion and he had yet to discuss with Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. It seemed like he had just received a command to stop his movement.
Actually, Mr. Suthep is performing well in dealing with a powerful group inside the government as he manages to coordinate with Newin Chidchob and Burapha Payak (group of officers from the 2nd Infantry Division).
All in all, regardless the scene behind the plan, it seemed like this is the most promising reconciliation plan after the country’s mayhem.
For this opportunity, Democrat party would move forward the reconciliation plan and lead the game toward possibility of the National Government. Apart from that, it would have a chance to adjust its administrative strategy due to Prime Minister Abhisit’s lack of professional team to deal with businessmen and investors.
