A source from the government reported that at the cabinet meeting Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva told all ministers to be ready for an emergency meeting anytime so that the government could avoid a halt in its administration. In case of crisis during red shirt rallies, the government should be able to hold emergency cabinet meeting before Tuesday schedule.

For this case, PM Abhisit has set up the mini-cabinet consisting of nine ministers that will be called to assess the political situation and whether it should enforce the imposition of Internal Security Act.

The nine ministers are Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban, DPM Maj Gen Sanan Kachornprasart, PM's Office Minister Weerachai Weeramethakul, Defense Minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan, Interior Minister Chavarat Charnvirakul, Energy Minister Wannarat Channukul, Industry Minister Charnchai Chairungrueng, and Natural Resources and Environment Minister Suwit Khunkitti.

The government has not yet to determine the mini-cabinet meeting venue in case it could not work at the Government House. Now it has to update the security matter on a daily basis before making the next move.
