SCB set to infuse 10 billion baht to support manufacturing sector

Siam Commercial Bank Plc, one of the country’s leading commercial banks, said that it was looking to infuse another 10 billion baht to support the manufacturing sector over the near future as part of move to strengthen the sector.

Kannikar Chalitaporn, the president of SCB, disclosed that the bank will give more completed financial supports for long term investments to entrepreneurs by more than 10 billion Baht. The budget will be divided into 5 billion Baht a year.

She said the previous process of this project has increased capabilities of entrepreneurs in cluster rubber and cluster electronics already. Next year, the bank aims to support another six clusters in order to make Thai industries becoming stronger.
