SAMART to book revenues of 1 billion Baht says politics has slight impact on its operations

Samart Corporation Plc (SAMART) disclosed to the performance of SAMART’s group and its subsidiaries during the second quarter of 2010 is likely to continue to show growth.
Samart’s President Watchai Vilailuck said that the Q2, 2010’s revenues are likely to grow continuously from Q1/2010 because Samart Telecoms Plc (SAMTEL) will book revenue around 0.7 – 1 billion Baht from its entire backlog of around 6 billion Baht.
However, due to current political situation, he gave his opinion that it would affect consumers’ confidence for just a little because mobile phones’ sales of the brand “I-Mobile” is improving since the beginning of 2010.
